About the team
The Devices organization at Roku is responsible for hardware products and partnerships that lead to continued account acquisition. Our business is fast-paced, requiring the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in an ever-changing environment. The right mix of organizational and communication skills will be the key to success. Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities are also essential.
About the role
Sr. Operations Program Manager (NPI OPM) launches products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. A successful OPM is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. Lead within worldwide Roku Operations and collaborate with the core product development team and other functional organizations within Roku.
What you will be doing
- Leading Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps
- Drive ramp readiness with engineering, Operations, and ODM teams
- Plan capacity and lead factory CAPEX and OPEX budgets to support product manufacturing
- Handle component readiness to ensure part availability, qualit,y and cost
- Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams
- Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while championing quality
- Leading all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams
We're excited if you have
- 7+ years of experience in program management working with CM/ODM/supplier
- Experience with consumer electronics manufacturing; computer or TV experience a big plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain, and/or product development
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to adapt quickly to new information and assess impact to programs
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive successful outcomes
- Comfortable in rapid development cycles with challenging goals
- Results oriented and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management
- Technical expertise and prior ODM management experience
- Mandarin and/or Spanish speaking ability a big plus
