This newly created role is a part of our Conferences Business Analytics team. It offers the opportunity to utilize strong data management, integration, and analytical skills to support BI initiatives in our fast-paced environment.

This role will be responsible for supporting the Global Conferences partnership with key partners from internal business units, including Research Sales, Global Services and Delivery, Global Product Management, and others, for regional portfolio(s) of conferences. You will inform, engage and equip internal partners, including front lines associates and their leaders, with conferences information to support their commercial activities in driving research growth and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Relationships with Strategic Conference Partners to support Growth and LRP initiatives.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify business intelligence needs, perform data analysis, and design, implement, develop, and maintain BI reports & dashboards utilizing the Power BI platform.
  • Strategize User journey and experience.
  • Manage backlog and develop project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Gather, analyze, and document reporting requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project/data documentation.
  • Liaise with IT to implement BI projects.
  • Design data architecture structures necessary to support our BI initiatives.
  • Complete multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/ Masters Preferred
  • 8+ years of end-to-end BI/Analytics project implementation experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with dashboards and data visualization using Power BI
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven expertise in cross function analytical projects
  • Self-Driven problem solver leveraging analytical best practices.
  • Deep understanding in writing SQL code and Power BI Environment.
  • Familiar with Agile project management approach or similar
  • Good UX design experience.  Figma Experience is a plus.
  • Understanding data visualization strategies used to illustrate information and tell a story through dashboards.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
