As a Foreman, you'll lead a crew while working alongside them in the field. You'll plan daily work, coordinate labor and materials, solve problems, and make sure work is completed safely, on schedule, and with quality workmanship. You'll work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager while helping develop the next generation of electricians.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and support Electricians, Mechanics, and Apprentices.
Plan daily work and keep your crew productive.
Read blueprints, lay out work, and solve field issues.
Perform hands-on commercial electrical work, including underground, rough-in, trim-out, equipment installation, and electrical systems.
Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and deliveries with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
Make sure work meets the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and company quality standards.
Promote a safe jobsite by following and enforcing company safety policies.
Train and develop less experienced electricians.
Complete daily reports, production updates, and other required documentation.

 

QualificationsQualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

At least five years of commercial electrical construction experience.
Experience leading crews on commercial electrical projects.
Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
The ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical plans.
Experience installing commercial electrical systems, including underground, rough-in, trim-out, equipment installation, and finish work.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using mobile devices and standard construction software, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
Experience using common commercial electrical tools and equipment.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
