About Job

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for technical support to various operations groups within the organization. The individual in this role will provide expertise on existing software applications as well as assist in the implementation of new systems/applications. This person will also work closely with management to ensure effective communication throughout the entire organization.

Job Responsibilities
• Provide daily operational support for all internal systems.
• Maintain system security by ensuring proper user access.
• Work closely with IT staff to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Assist in the development of reports used by various departments.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify ways to streamline processes through automation or other means.
• Develop and maintain databases related to customer information, orders placed, shipment statuses, etc.
• Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end users.
• Assist in the testing phase of new projects prior to their rollout into production environments.
• Monitor system performance metrics and make adjustments accordingly.
• Participate in cross functional teams to address system failures or bugs.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Microsoft Access Database Engine (ADO).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Powershell, VBScript, etc.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to think critically and independently.
• Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
