Production Supervisor, Powertrain Quality (2nd shift)

The Production Supervisor, Powertrain Quality successful candidate, will be working with cutting-edge technology that enables exceptional performance and world class quality. The applicant must be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual that is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
**this position will work 2 days & 2 nights**
You Will:
- Oversee Quality Operations for 1st & 2nd shifts
- Ensure coverage for quality operations (PDI workstation for MPB, Drive Unit, HV Battery Pack, Battery Enclosure, Stator, Incoming Quality and any other added operation)
- Main point of contact for other departments such as GA, Logistics, HR, PWT manufacturing
- Ensure compliance of critical to quality processes for shift coordinating manpower for this evaluation
- Ensure quality issues identified have the proper attention and drive the team to contain and or solve
- Escalate issues as needed to Quality and/or other departments
- Confirm implementation of part improvements/Quality sorts/Process countermeasures implemented
- Coordinate countermeasure implementation in with cross functional team
- Coordinate Root Cause Analysis for issues or continue analysis for issues found and ensure proper communication with 1st shift personnel
- Ensure control plan compliance in shift and escalate issues found when needed
- Use a variety of hand and power tools with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Learn and gain proficiency in new technologies
- Gain knowledge of manufacturing process and control plans to support control plan audit and evaluations
- Coordinate Quality campaigns at Powertrain or vehicle level
You Bring:
- High school Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Powertrain manufacturing, quality or repair
- Proficiency in Microsoft office use
- A valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to drive cars without any special requirements
- Proficiency in the use of mechanical/electrical tools
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time during the analysis or repair of parts
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, and colleagues, including cross-functional teams in multiple locations
- Organizational and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details. Adaptable to process multiple requests and deliver on commitments
Preferred:
- HV safety knowledge
- Experience with torque tools and high precision tools
- Inspection and quality processes experience
