Senior Associate, Operations - Sports Analytics

We are seeking a highly organized Senior Operations Associate to oversee the daily operations of our business. As a small and growing internationally-distributed technology company, we value candidates who can wear multiple hats, and the ideal candidate will have exposure to multiple areas of business operations, including human resources, payroll, administration, and compliance. The position will report directly to the company’s Director of Operations, ensuring that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

As a Zelus Senior Operations Associate, you will be expected to:

• Assist with the day-to-day administration of the business, including human resources and business operations
• Be responsible for key work streams that ensure the continued success of Zelus
• Develop policies, processes and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the business
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, including delegating tasks and monitoring progress by developing and monitoring KPIs
• Support the recruitment and hiring process
• Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding; assist with performance evaluations, learning development programs, recruiting and hiring, and other people operations tasks
• Show creativity and innovation when developing solutions to problems
• Regularly update leadership on project status
• Help plan and coordinate on-site events
• Provide ad-hoc backup support for the finance function as needed

A qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate most of the following and will be excited to learn the rest:

• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least three years of relevant work experience
• Comfort working in a fully distributed, remote environment
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven analytical ability
• Strong project management skills

Starting salaries for an Operations Associate range from $65,000 to $80,000.
