What You’ll Do

The team goal is to create advanced solutions for high speed IO and RF that fits into Samsung vision of memory, display, SOC, wireless, and wireline communication. You will have the opportunities to work in a fast-paced, technically challenging, and collaborative environment. You will innovate and bring new designs into production. 

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time 

Reports to: Senior Principal Engineer 

• Design/optimize the circuits to meet specification.
• Floor planning and layout supervision.
• Participate in silicon bring-up, validation and debug.
• Contribute in architecture and specs.

What You Bring

• Bachelors with 15+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 13+ years or PhD with 10+ years in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience designing analog circuits/mixed signal circuits such as bandgap, opam, LDO, filters
• Knowledge and experience with circuits of Serdes IPS: CTLE, DFE, FFE, clock distribution, PI
• Knowledge of Serdes architecture and high speed interconnect standard (USB, PCIe, UCIe)
• Knowledge and experience with ESD, PLL, clock generation, ADC, DAC is a big plus.
• Well versed in EDA tools (Cadence, Spectre, Totem, EMX,)
• Comfortable with Python, MATLAB

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.
