Director, WinShape College Program

Overview

 

Scope of Position: The Director, WinShape College Program (WSCP) oversees all aspects of the WSCP including vision, strategic direction, and the cultivation of biblical community for college program participants. The Director will lead the ministry by establishing a vision that results in the ability to foster an environment of residential Biblical community that supports, encourages, and exhorts the college program participants. This role must be a collaborative servant leader who is burdened for the discipleship of the next generation.

Responsibilities

• Casts a vision for the accomplishment of the WSCP mission through clarifying vision, purpose, setting strategic priorities, establishing team structures and effective processes, and maintaining healthy culture of valuing living in biblical community 
• Provides direct leadership, tactical support, and coaching to the College Program Staff and students.  
• Leads the development and management of the WSCP annual ministry plan & budget 
• Hires, supervises, & develops multiple employees by creating clear work goals, facilitating personal development plans, addressing performance issues, and progressive discipline when needed. 
• Develops and maintains strategic relationships with a variety of stakeholders ranging from Berry College Leadership, WS Leadership, WS Staff, Local Churches, and CFA operators. 
• Champions both the WinShape Foundation and WinShape College Program mission & core values 
• Regularly seeks to mentor, support, encourage, and engage WSCP participants in cultivating biblical community rooted in biblical truth. 

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred 
• 7-10 years of relevant work experience in college ministry or similar field 
• Background in residential college ministry preferred 
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and in presentations to students, parents, staff, and other ministry leaders 
• Executes multiple projects simultaneously  
• Experience in developing and caring for people 
• A self-professing Christ follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis 
• Has Biblically-centered theological convictions that are consistent with WinShape’s beliefs 
• Possess a valid driver’s license and has an acceptable driving record
