Enterprise Engineering Lead

Leidos has an exciting opening for you as our next Enterprise Engineering Lead supporting our DISA IT program. As the Enterprise Engineering Lead focusing on the full spectrum of the enterprise and production landscape, you will be responsible for the overall architecture/engineering of program solutions with the ability to get hands-on within the systems when it is implemented/deployed. You will understand the CI/CD process and leverage engineering insights to support the oversight and monitoring of the operational system, support end users through help desk ticketing systems, and coordinate the application of fixes/patches throughout all environments (multi-domain/cross-domain). You will understand the system’s functionality and features to provide support of the system in production. You bring experience interacting with the customer as well as experience in working with on-prem and cloud-based systems across a matrixed team.
While the work is primarily conducted on-site at our client location on Fort Belvoir, VA, we offer a flexible schedule and, occasionally, some tasks may be performed remotely. Percentage of remote work will vary based on client requirements/deliverables.

As the engineering lead for the program, you are also a stakeholder in systems being developed with deep expertise in Systems Engineering (SE) and will work closely with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects as well as Government counterparts to ensure the implementation and sustainability of future systems and will support key tasks such as:
Production system support and troubleshooting (functionality and infrastructure)

Interface and Data Architectures
System Integration
System & Operations Performance Analysis
Decision Analysis and Resolution
Support with the hands-on PROD system tier-3 level support, troubleshooting, and resolution

You are rigorous while having the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. You bring enthusiasm, initiative, solutions/ideas, technical and leadership experience meeting the following qualifications:
Masters with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree
Proficiency with enterprise-class storage and data protection technologies such as storage and backup arrays, SAN switches, backup software, and storage replication technology.
Experience providing enterprise-level IT engineering-related services within the scope of this program for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICs environments.
Experience working with project managers and Scrum teams to direct the use and allocation of engineering resources to accomplish project work on schedule and within cost constraints.
One or more DoDD 8140.01 certifications related to performance of Architecture, Engineering, Integration, and Advanced Capability Delivery.
One or more engineering or technology-related technical certifications within the scope of this program.
Experience leading and managing multiple engineering teams focused on completed project work in agile or waterfall-based approaches.
Experience supporting DevSecOps-enabled delivery methodologies, technologies, platforms, and/or pipelines.
