SOI Design Engineering Intern

Qorvo’s SOI Design Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular Engineering business group.  Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Contribute to design of multiple functional blocks including LNA and RF switches using SOI and CMOS
• Generate and simulate EM models in HFSS for silicon design integration and validation
• Meet performance requirements while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule
• Work as a member of a team to contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data
• Work with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data to real lab data

 

Qualifications:

• Pursuing MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• Student must have completed some analog/RF circuit design course work
• Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
• Software Exposure:  Cadence, ADS or AWR, HFSS or FEM
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products
