Job Summary:

Warehouse Associate is a professional who is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and orders placed by Joybird’s customers. They also ensure that shipping schedules, inventory accuracy goals and receiving goals are met at the distribution center.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned): ● Assist with the floor loading and unloading process of cross countries trailers as well as international containers. ● Move material within the facility utilizing forklifts, walkie riders, pallet jacks and dollies. ● Load product onto trucks as needed, by hand or forklift based on product weight. ● Maintain a clean and safe warehouse at all times. ● May use computers, tablets and scanners to enter records. ● Pick and stage orders for outbound ● Assist with quarterly inventory counts. ● Be a dependable part of the warehouse group. SCOPE & IMPACT: ● An intricate part of helping to achieve financial goals of 30-40% YoY revenue growth. ● Support Joybird’s Century Vision goals by helping to meet KPI goals within distribution and logistics departments where they are introduced. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: ● Able to lift 50 lbs easily. ● Stand, walk and work in a warehouse setting for an extended amount of time. ● Basic math skills. ● Computer literate. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: ● 2 to 5 years experience in a warehouse environment. ● 1 to 4 years of loading and unloading experience. ● Proficiency skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google applications. ● 3 to 5 years forklift experience. Base Compensation Range: $13.71 - $20.68 per hour
