District Roadway Design Engineer / Design / Transportation Development

 

This position plays a critical leadership role within the Florida Department of Transportation by ensuring roadway projects are designed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with state and federal standards. Overall, the DRDE serves as the district’s roadway design authority, helping FDOT deliver transportation infrastructure that is safe, compliant, cost-effective, and constructible.

Directs, coordinates, and supervises the Roadway Design staff in the activities of the production process and preparation of highway construction contract plans.
