As an IT Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our organization's IT infrastructure. Your role will be impactful and will contribute meaningfully to the organization's success by providing desktop support to office-based personnel as well as remote employees, maintaining conference room A/V equipment, providing printer support, and assisting with networking support.


Additionally, the person in this role will act as an Operational Administrator for our New York City office. In this capacity, you will partner with our CEO to maintain a high standard of office operations, including the management of all office supplies (from paper, pens, chairs, desks and food & beverage), greeting visitors, and providing general administrative support to our employees.


Responsibilities:

    IT Responsibilities

    • Manage IT equipment logistics (shipping and receiving to onsite and remote employees)
    • Provide desktop support to office-based personnel and remote employees
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on PCs, Macs, and mobile devices
    • Maintain and support conference room A/V equipment to provide a seamless experience for Zoom-based video conferencing
    • Provide printer support, including maintenance, repairs, and toner replacement
    • Support network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation, high availability, and adequate bandwidth from the office Wi-Fi
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to manage IT projects and initiatives

    Office Manager Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary contact and point person for all office-related operations including building management, office visitors, vendors, and staff.
    • Manage all inbound and outbound office shipping.
    • Ordering and maintenance of any and all supplies for office, included but not limited to:
      • General office supplies (paper, pens, shipping, etc.)
      • Equipment inventory (chairs, desks, etc…)
      • Food and beverage and disposable supplies
    • Daily Maintenance to ensure a clean and professional office environment
    • Manage contracts and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers (cleaning services, plants, etc…)
    • Management and oversight of internal and external company events including but not limited to outside business meetings, Board meetings, social outings, and office events
    • Conference room and reservations management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience assisting at the executive level and at least 1+ years working in office management and/or office operations
  • Extremely proficient in GSuite, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and deal with professionals inside and outside the company
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize assignments in order to anticipate and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent organization skills
