Position Summary:

​Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Junior Data Scientist – Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities include:

• Manage databases used for reporting and analysis by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Analysis.
• Work with every module of the Banner ERP system.
• Develop PL/SQL and statistical reports.
• Provide data extract files and ad hoc reports in response to internal and external inquiries.
• Requires proficiency in writing advanced SQL to analyze and report data.
• Requires a thorough understanding of database design and database management systems.
• Requires strong Oracle PL/SQL programming skills and ability to extract and merge data from various sources and knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools and statistical software packages.
• Conduct research studies and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Salary:

$55,000 - $65,00
