The Senior Accountant will assist with preparing and analyzing financial records, reviewing data, and ensuring financial compliance. The Senior Accountant will execute various financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, inventory, reconciliations, general ledger reviews, and other ad hoc projects.

Work Schedule

This position would be based in Atlanta, GA.  The work schedule is hybrid: remote on Monday and Friday and in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions in compliance with GAAP requirements.
  • Provide accounting support (including analytical procedures) to Tosca service centers.
  • Assist with preparing management reports (monthly, quarterly, etc.)
  • Oversee the monthly Inventory cycle counting process.
  • Maintains and balances general ledger accounts by verifying, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist Assistant Controller with multiple projects.
  • Provide accurate supporting information and documentation for external audits.
  • Assist with related special projects, ad-hoc requests, and other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • A CPA with public accounting experience – is a plus.
  • Must have strong skills in Excel.
  • Experience in Microsoft D365 – is a plus.
  • Familiarity with P&L's and standard financial statements
  • Collaborative and analytical profile with demonstrated critical and economic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated high integrity and ethical standards, in addition to complete confidentiality required.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, deadline orientated, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Flexibility in the schedule during month-end processing and close.
