<h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2>
<p>The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) will directly report to the Co-Founder/ CEO & Deputy CEO and will play a key role in scaling the business through strategic customer acquisition and relationship-building. The CSO will lead the development and scaling of sales teams in France, Germany, and future markets, leveraging strong relationships with key decision-makers in logistics. Make a lasting impact in our internationalization strategy to the US and Taiwan, and be the spearhead for the expansion as the Chief of Sales at LivingPackets.</p>
<p>The location for the role is Paris, Munich, or Nantes with partial flexibility for a mobile office setup and frequent trips across Europe.</p>
<p>1. Leadership and Strategy:</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy focusing on customer acquisition, carrier integration and long-term partnerships.</li>
<li>Lead and develop the sales team, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.</li>
<li>Drive performance by addressing key customer pain points.</li>
</ul>
<p>2. Sales Operation:</p>
<ul>
<li>Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in logistics, and luxury goods, ideally from your own network.</li>
<li>Drive B2B sales efforts, with a focus on global account management.</li>
<li>Leverage an existing network in logistics and related industries to integrate new clients rapidly.</li>
<li>Ensure the team’s adherence to best practices in sales operations and client management.</li>
</ul>
<p>3. Market Expansion:</p>
<ul>
<li>Spearhead international expansion efforts, preparing the team for entry into the US and Taiwan markets.</li>
<li>Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in new and existing markets.</li>
</ul>
<p>4. Sustainability Appreciation:</p>
<ul>
<li>Advocate for the company’s mission to promote the circular economy by highlighting the sustainability and cost-efficiency of reusable packaging solutions.</li>
<li>Educate clients on the technical and environmental advantages of LivingPackets’ products.</li>
</ul>
<h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 10 years of professional experience in sales, with a strong background in logistics systems. Exposure to luxury goods, or technology-led products are beneficial.</li>
<li>Fluency (written & spoken) in English and German is mandatory. French is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Flexibility to travel extensively (approximately 40%, including frequent trips to Nantes, Paris, and Italy).</li>
<li>Proven expertise in international sales & global account management, strong network in logistics with exceptional relationship-building, leadership, as well as mentoring skills.</li>
<li>Excellent ability to rapidly analyze an organization, with a strategic eye and a pragmatic approach to sales, as well as the ability to explain complex technical concepts effectively.</li>
<li>Familiarity with the start-up environment: flexibility, responsiveness and ability to manage shifting priorities.</li>
