Summary

Coordinates the activities for processing referrals received by IMPAXX/Bridge Pointe and works closely with Analysts as well as with customers to fulfill responsibilities.  Manages audit/exception assignments and work condition reports to completion, communicates results and makes recommendations to management. Performs quality audits for teammate training and feedback.  The Manager is responsible for supervising, mentoring and training the Referral Teammates.

Essential Duties and Functions

  • Supervises, mentors, and trains the Referral and Assistant Referral Coordinators.  Conducts internal team meetings and one-on-ones with teammates.  Conducts performance reviews of all team members.
  • Responsible for monthly Quality Audits and feedback to the Referral Team.
  • Administers Company personnel policies in all areas.  Follows Company staffing standards, training recommendations, and coordinates PTO for staffing.
  • Manages productivity and coordinates the activities associated with the Referral Coordinators and Referral Assistants.
  • Receives escalated telephone calls and problems requiring knowledge of department policies and procedures.
  • Supports team cohesiveness through on-going diplomatic and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Performs quality reviews on cases in compliance with audit requirements.
  • Perform audits as a result of customer contract requirements.
  • Supports the goals and philosophy of IMPAXX as a whole.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Expert knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Statutes.
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Adjuster’s license
  • 5 years of experience in Workers Compensation
