Position: Medical Services Project Manager (Temporary)

Full Position Salary Range: $57,972.43 - $73,437.73

Schedule: Part-Time; ~30 hours/week; Exempt; Benefits-Eligible

Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.

Snapshot: Most days will involve oversight of projects and bringing stakeholders together to move key work forward. Some days may be centered on independent work to determine and implement project tasks, while other days may be meeting-centered to facilitate project planning and execution.

  • You are a strategic thinker with experience managing multiple priorities. You are a skilled communicator who can clearly and simply convey complex information and facilitate people understanding key takeaways. You are able to identify project deliverables and self-manage to meet your own deliverables and support others in meeting theirs. Multitasking is second nature to you and you like planning ahead to meet goals. You have keen judgement and can discern what decisions and actions you are clear to make independently and those for which you require support. You are customer service-oriented, tech savvy, highly organized, and are able to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when needed. Onsite requirements will vary based on project needs. 

Primary Areas of Responsibility/Essential Functions:

  1. Lead Assigned Projects: You are an effective project manager who has a knack for moving projects toward completion with great success. You are called upon to support key projects within Medical Services, partnering with Medical Services leaders along the way. You organize a small to medium portfolio of projects simultaneously. You partner with stakeholders, directors, VPs, and other senior leaders, as necessary, to make decisions on projects.
  2. Incubate Programs: You play a key role in ensuring that new programs or procedures are successfully developed and executed. You use your strong project management skills and ability to effectively monitor progress, track necessary details and engage others to ensure success. Through regular evaluation you iterate and refine program components to ensure effectiveness and sustainability. You support the eventual operationalization of key programs.
  3. Abortion Care: We all work in abortion care, whether it is referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc. In this role, you will manage projects that directly impact the provision of abortion care by our patient care staff.

COVID-19 Protocol: Vaccination against COVID-19 will no longer be a condition of employment. However, all Health Center/Patient or Community Facing Employees, must have the COVID vaccine or wear a mask at all times beginning November 1st. Proof must be uploaded upon hire. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) prior to your start date. 

Flu Protocol: All employees working directly with patients, the community or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient/community contact or while in the health center from November 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season). Proof must be uploaded upon hire. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) prior to your start date.
