Senior Software Engineer (REMOTE)

Key Responsibilities & Job Description:

• Research, design, and develop computer software and production applications. Independently develop and consistently redesign/refactor product to adapt to customer and associate needs.
• Involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
• Develop test suites to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production.
• Collaborate with other team members in agile processes.
• Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer ready, easy to understand and testable.
• Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
• Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions.
• Telecommuting available.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,  Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternate combination of education and experience: No degree and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Requires 2 years of experience involving each of the following:

1.C#;

2.Shell scripting;

3.SQL;

4.REST;

5.Web Services;

6.Web API;

7.Microsoft Azure Cloud Services;

8.Google Cloud Platform;

9.GIT;

10.Cassandra;

11.Kubernetes;

12.BigQuery.
