Job Summary:

Charter Oak Health Center is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, coordinating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical services. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering treatments, and educating patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' health conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Work with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
• Provide immediate care in emergency situations and assist in stabilizing patients.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of CT.
• Minimum of one year experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is often required.
• Speak Spanish fluently.
