As a Software Engineer specializing in Developer Productivity, you will design, develop, and maintain tools and systems to improve the efficiency of our engineering teams. Your role involves creating reliable local development environments, automating repetitive tasks, and collaborating with software engineers across the organization to identify and solve workflow inefficiencies. You will regularly embed with different teams to understand their friction points, providing targeted and innovative solutions.   StubHub is committed to being a phenomenal and inclusive place to work. What You've Done:

• 9+ years of professional experience in software development  
• 2+ years of team leadership/management experience in a hands-on capacity 
• 2+ years of in-depth experience with React and relevant toolsets/framework ecosystems  
• Understanding of core JavaScript concepts, and practical experience building robust stateful web applications  
• Extensive experience in designing large scale web applications across the entire stack using multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, C/C++, Javascript) 
• Previous experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact; focus on large-scale consumer-products is preferred 
• Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools 
• Experience working closely with product teams, designers, and other engineers to create impactful and highly-performant web experiences

• Own the local development experience and roadmap for ensuring we are improving efficiency
• Work collaboratively across the engineering organization to understand teams processes and preferences and design innovative solutions to eliminate their friction points, and champion best practices across our codebase
• Leverage your expertise in building and operating high scale systems with a focus on reliability and quality of analyzed data
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across StubHub's platforms and products with agility and resulting in high-quality outcomes
• Help build and mentor a team of software engineers, championing process and culture improvements within the Engineering organization and increasing the team’s technical capabilities
