Our portfolio spans power, thermal and infrastructure management products, software and solutions, and is complemented by a network of nearly 250 service centers worldwide.</p> <p>We are now looking for a <strong>Production Manager</strong> to join our team in <strong>Tognana, Italy</strong>.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Overview:</strong> The Production Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the effective management of personnel within the production department, aiming to optimize efficiency and quality, particularly within specific assembly lines focusing on products such as Water or Air Machines at Tognana's EMEA thermal management headquarter. In this capacity, you will actively support operations in implementing improvement plans and fostering a culture of continuous enhancement in the assembly shop. Your innovative thinking and proactive approach will be instrumental in driving positive changes, and you will assume overall responsibility for the production structure and its organizational dynamics.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your Core Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Ensuring Safety and Organization:</strong> Responsibility to maintain safe working conditions and foster optimal workplace organization tailored to the product requirements.</li> <li><strong>Process Optimization:</strong> Driving production process optimization through the implementation of Vertiv Operating System's lean directives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.</li> <li><strong>KPI Monitoring and Reporting:</strong> Proactively monitoring production KPIs and providing detailed reporting, including participation in higher-level meetings to keep internal support functions and stakeholders informed.</li> <li><strong>Budgeting and Resource Planning: </strong>Defining production budgets and hiring curves aligned with volume trends to ensure optimal resource allocation and efficiency.</li> <li><strong>Talent Management:</strong> Overseeing production personnel training, skill development, contract management, and union involvement to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>In order to be successful in this role you will need to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Background Education: </strong>Bachelor degree in engineering or similar;</li> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3-5 years experience in a similar position</li> <li>Knowledge of lean philosophies;</li> <li>Knowledge and application of safety, quality and operative procedures;</li> <li>Good teamwork, communication and leadership skills;</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>If <strong>YOU</strong> are ready to contribute to a thriving and evolving environment, seize the opportunity and apply now!
