Director of Operations, Milliken Turnkey Services, Floor Covering

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Operations, Milliken Services, is responsible for overseeing the Milliken Services team, which includes Project Managers, Sales Support, and Turnkey Coordinators. This position involves a combination of strategic leadership, operational management, and collaboration with various teams to ensure the success of Milliken Services. Located in Spartanburg, SC, this role reports to the Vice President Americas.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily Management and Strategic Leadership:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Milliken Services Team.
  • Provide strategic leadership for Project Managers, Sales Support, and Turnkey Coordinators.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage the performance of all direct reports within the team.
  • Set goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for direct reports aligned with department, division, and company goals.
  • Implement and manage safety processes for the Milliken Services Team.
  • Actively participate in overall Milliken safety processes
  • Foster collaborative and positive relationships with other departments.
  • Convert separate Project Management, Sales Support, and Turnkey groups into one cohesive team supporting the Commercial Americas business.
• Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Estimate quantities/materials needed.
  • Prepare quotes for customers and/or sales.
  • Manage projects through all phases of installation.
  • Work with relevant Milliken departments for sales order processing, PO issuance to subcontractors, shipping coordination, installation scheduling, vendor payment, and customer invoicing.
  • Requests and manages project/property diagrams.
  • Handle soft and hard surface flooring materials.
  • Provide partial turnkey and vertical turnkey services.
