Your New Role

The Manager, Business Operations, will be responsible for bringing sound process development and execution of WBD streaming promotions (e.g., Max, d+), strategic initiatives (e.g., Mass Market Offers, Price Increases), and product monetization enhancements. You will identify opportunity, adeptly navigate ambiguity, build strong cross-functional bridges between teams, and deliver repeatable, scalable processes that serve the needs of our global cross functional partners and the business. You are versatile, flexible, and diplomatic, proactively identifying opportunities to support the execution of global promos and tackling new strategic initiatives in an ever-evolving environment. Your Role Accountabilities

Business Operations’ roles and scope will evolve as the business does — adaptability and a wholehearted willingness to pivot and take on whatever is needed is essential.
 

  • Support the delivery and execution of various high stakes global promotional campaigns and strategic initiatives (e.g., Mass Market Offers, Price Increases, etc.) by driving the definition of project scope, develop detailed project plans, calendars, creative execution, and post launch evaluation.
  • Track open issues, identify risks, and enable resolution by enlisting needed stakeholders and working groups.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize tools, forms, templates, surveys, reports, trackers, and dashboards (Airtable, Asana, JIRA, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Confluence, etc.) to support the project planning and execution process.
  • Work cross functionally alongside marketing, product, engineering, tech, finance, legal, customer experience to turn ideas into action. 
  • Create and present impactful business-case storytelling for executives and stakeholders.
  • Confidently lead efficient, effective meetings.
  • Help our stakeholders on board with new tools and processes to enable scalable and repeatable operations. 
  • Provide support to the WBD streaming access and provisioning program and assist the Senior Manager with the day-to-day program activities.
  • Support the team in bringing sound process development and project management to the pricing, packaging, and promotions space.
  • Be a champion for sensible, effective processes. Consistently monitor and enhance our current practices including process, tools, and communications plans.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, program management, business operations or 2-3 years as a management consultant; PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and global operations experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with streaming services and/or media, production, digital supply-chain, marketing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes for governance and tracking; Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficient using project management software (Airtable, Asana, JIRA, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Confluence, etc.)
  • Thrives in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments, constantly, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Organized self-starter with a strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including negotiation and coalition building with cross-functional stakeholders.
