The caregivers at Martin North Hospital have made it an excellent medical facility and a home away from home.
With a dedicated Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU), Martin North Hospital is considered the cardiac hub of Cleveland Clinic Martin Health. The CVPCU specifically cares for patients with serious heart and vascular conditions who need close monitoring but aren't critical enough for the ICU. As a New Grad RN Resident in the CVPCU, you will work with fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.

Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
Provide direct nursing care, alongside a coach, in accordance with established healthcare organization policies, procedures and protocols.
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities based on the following: acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability.
Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
