In this role, you will:
- Provide speech pathology services to patients in the acute setting at both Westwood and Santa Monica campuses
- Perform clinical swallow evaluations, MBSS, FEES, and treatment for patients with dysphagia
- Perform communication/cognition evaluation and treatment
- Cover weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be available to cover 2 holidays per year and 2 weekend dates per month
Salary range: 68.30-83.46 hourly
Job Qualifications

- California State Speech Pathology license
- Able to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems
- Possess a high level of clinical skill to work with complex medical and social situations
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent documentation abilities
- Must have recent experience practicing in the inpatient hospital setting
- Experience with MBSS and FEES is required
- Experience with communication/cognition evaluation and treatment required
- Experience with pediatrics is a plus
