Senior AutoCAD Designer

What are the core responsibilities for the role?

• Draft and design  municipal projects and transportation projects
• Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
• Prepare plans and layouts generated in AutoCAD Civil 3D 
• Produce accurate output with a keen eye for aesthetics
• Manage project data files and AutoCAD Civil 3D templates and standards
• Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely
• Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

• Advanced skills using AutoCAD/Civil 3D; experience with Microstation a plus
• Experienced in detailing plan and profile, drainage, grading, utilities, broadband, and associated items
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally 
• Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities
• Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment
• 10-25 years’ professional experience utilizing AutoCAD/Civil 3D
