The DoIT team at DHS is seeking to hire a candidate with strong technical and people skills to serve as the Mainframe Systems Clinical Unit Manager performing complex and technical systems and business analysis, hands-on coding, and testing, primarily supporting applications and some web-based application, including Inpatient, Unit Dose, Pharmacy, Lab systems, FOID, and Administrative Services, utilizing mainframe tools (COBOL, VSAM, DB2). In this role you will integrate processing with web development environments (Java, RAD, Websphere). In addition, you will receive and analyze user requests aligning with end user needs/requests for modification, including feasibility studies, facilitating joint application development sessions, and developing written recommendations. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, professional, communicate effectively, and possess excellent organizational skills.
