We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the International Search team, helping shape the way customers discover and engage with products.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to lead and participate in large-scale initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software that powers search experiences for millions of users.

What you'll do...

• Lead and contribute to full-stack development projects with a strong focus on backend and frontend technologies.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Own features end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Promote and demonstrate engineering best practices in unit and integration testing.

What you'll bring...

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development (required).
• 5 + Strong programming experience in Java (required); experience with Python and JavaScript is a plus
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development using JavaScript/React.
• Strong programming experience in Java (required); experience with Python and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with Spring Boot framework (required).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Nice to Have...

• Experience with Apache Solr, Cosmos DB, or Apache Airflow.
• Experience in Search or Recommendation systems is a plus.
