About the Role

This fine dining seafood restaurant is known for its globally inspired menus, elevated private dining experiences, and refined approach to hospitality. From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, the team delivers memorable experiences in a sophisticated New York City setting.
 
We are seeking an Event Sales Coordinator to support the booking and administrative management of private dining and catering events. This role focuses on coordinating inquiries, organizing event details, and supporting the sales process from initial outreach through execution.
 
This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys organization, client communication, and contributing behind the scenes to high-touch guest experiences.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming event inquiries and provide timely, professional follow-up
  • Support the event sales process by preparing proposals, contracts, and related materials
  • Coordinate event details including menus, floor plans, rentals, and special requests
  • Prepare and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to support team alignment
  • Maintain accurate records in Tripleseat and other systems
  • Track key milestones including deposits, payments, and confirmations
  • Assist in scheduling tastings, site visits, and client meetings
  • Partner with culinary, service, and sales teams to ensure clear communication of event details
  • Support updates to menus and event materials in internal platforms
  • Participate in event meetings and maintain organized documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in event coordination, hospitality, or administrative support within a fine dining restaurant or similar environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with event management or reservation platforms (e.g., Tripleseat) is helpful
  • Proficiency with standard business tools and systems
  • Flexibility to support occasional evenings or weekends as needed
