Day to day your role will involve:


· We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Senior Principal Architect , to spearhead the Enterprise Software Architecture program, a strategic initiative within our CTO

architecturegroup, focusing on the creation of a innovative cloud-based platform designed to revolutionise our delivery platform. You will have the opportunity to develop an MVP of a new platform to be used by our delivery and operations team.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to:


- Architect projects from conception to delivery, ensuring the platform aligns with our vision of a seamless, API-driven customer onboarding experience.

- Architect and oversee the development of microservices and APIs that will serve as the backbone of the platform, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather comprehensive requirements, translating customer and business needs into technical specifications.

- Uphold strong communication channels with end-users and stakeholders, fostering relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

- Apply advanced knowledge in big data, data streaming, API development, and microservices to drive innovative solutions.

- Demonstrate expertise in data processing and cloud technologies, with a preference for candidates with an Azure or cybersecurity background or qualification.


Bonus points if you have:


- Proven experience as a Software Architect, preferably in a senior role, with extensive experience in large-scale data processing.

- A track record of working closely with end customers and delivering customer-centric solutions.

- Professional qualifications related to cybersecurity are highly desirable.

- Ability to apply strong problem solving skills and think outside the box when working in complex system environments with different interface and integration capabilities.

- Agile/Scrum certification or demonstrable experience in agile environments is preferred.
