About the role
Hours of Job
- Part Time - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Every third weekend and every third holiday rotation required.
- Responsible for delivery of patient care to the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patient populations utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
- Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
- Places the patient at the center of care practices.
- Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work every third weekend and every third holiday rotation.
- Must have willingness to be placed on call and to support staffing during census fluctuations.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.
- Previous OB experience is required.
