We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level I (2nd shift) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Jamestown, NY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Operating production equipment safely and accurately to meet quality and productivity expectations under direct guidance.
- Strengthening the safety culture by stopping work for hazards, reporting incidents immediately, and consistently using proper protective equipment.
- Reducing risk by correcting hazards within your control and helping create an environment where everyone looks out for one another.
- Protecting product quality through strict adherence to standard work, process documentation, and inspection procedures.
- Minimizing defects and cost exposure by identifying non‑conforming material early and raising issues before they affect customers.
- Supporting reliable delivery by running manual and automated equipment at required cycle times and achieving daily production goals.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area that supports efficiency, safety, and equipment performance.
- Contributing to a strong team environment by communicating clearly, completing required training, and actively participating in improvements to safety, quality, and workflow.

Education/Experience:
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Minimal or no work experience required.
Additional Information:
- Able to become a certified dependent and independent machining operator. Continue to learn and gain machining knowledge and experience.
- Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures.
- Has the ability to train on non-critical / repetitive tasks like liner install, MBC install, subassembly operation, CMM, pack etc.
- Able to perform all the quality checks without supervision and make the right determination and adjustments based on results.
- Competent in LOTO and conducting PMs on machines.
- Able to rework parts on the machine.
Compensation:
$2.00 shift premium in addition to base pay
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
