Accounts Payable Technician (Hybrid)

Summary

 Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of clerical/administrative activities supporting company-wide disbursement processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries and contacts other departments or vendors to resolve a variety of problems.                                         
• Responds to queries and questions based on the analysis and interpretation of accounting information.                                         
• Performs various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit.                             
• Sorts, files and maintains clerical records and reports pertinent to accounting function.            

Typical Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Relevant Experience

3+ years related experience and/or training

Required Certifications

Other Information

Possess a thorough understanding of assigned accounting related functions (i.e. A/P, A/R). Able to operate general business machines such as computer, calculator, fax and similar office equipment efficiently and accurately. Perform routine mathematical calculations. Able to accurately complete high volume of work within specified time frames.  Must be punctual and have regular attendance.

Works a hybrid schedule (3 days every 3 weeks in the office), 7:30am-4pm.
