About the role
Amazon is hiring a Catalog Analyst to be based in our corporate offices in Barcelona. As member of our EU Procurement Shared Services team you support the EU procurement and business teams by delivering operational purchasing tasks and assignments.
This role will report to the Catalog Manager.
Main scope:
To provide functional support to the EU Procurement Operations network for operational and administrative tasks. This includes setup and maintenance of e-Catalogs on the Procurement ERP and/or documents creation, delivery tracking and escalation and supplier master data management and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Process daily requests and remedy tickets
- Process Catalog creations and extensions
- Point of contact for some internal stakeholders and external (vendors/manufacturers)
- Set up and maintain supplier master data for procurement network
- Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policy.
- Support continuous improvement projects
- Management of various administrative tasks
Key Performance Indicators:
- Meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) for standard tasks (e.g. Catalog creation...)
- Achieving assigned project targets / objectives
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Barcelona, B, ESP
- C1 English level.
- Experience in administrative/procurement field.
- Knowledge of MS Office – in particular MS Excel.
Self-motivated
- Ability to resolve day-to-day problems and focus on delivering results
- Ability to make effective escalation decision
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good judgment and instincts
- Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment, good time management.
- Strong analytical skills (i.e. macros, PowerBI)
- Formal business administration or procurement qualification required Bachelor degree preferred
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, ORACLE, Coupa) in large organizations
