Cloud Engineer (Airline Industry, Mid/Senior, Fully Remote)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an International Technology Services Provider, with focus at offering digital transformation ticketing services in the airline industry, is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join their IT Operations Team.

Workplace Location: Greece – Fully Remote (you need to be based in Greece and holder of a valid EU Work Permit)

What you will be doing:

As a Cloud Engineer you will be part of their IT Operations Team and you be involved in the successful design, delivery and support of the company’s projects to Enterprise clients

More specifically you will be:

• Setting-up and maintaining a highly resilient, available and scalable infrastructure for enterprise grade application on Azure Cloud
• Delivering the product that materially impacts the business and improving the customer experience
• Staying up-to-date with new Azure services and resources
• Providing proof of concept software so to guide the software engineer to properly use Azure Services and resources
• Extensively documenting every use of resource and provide features and trade-offs analysis for every service used in the Cloud
• Participating in 24x7 on-call rotation in support of production issues or SLAs

Requirements

• A BSc/MSc degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an information technology field (e.g., Computer/Management Information Systems (MIS/CIS), Computer Science (CS), Electrical/Computer Engineering (EE/CE), or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience
• 4+ yrs of Cloud related experience – preferably in Azure
• Proven track record in Azure Cloud architecture, management, and support
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Very good English written and oral communication skills

Any of the following will be considered a plus

Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies Certification (AZ 303 or the latest AZ 305) OR to have completed the required training
