The Essence of the Role:

As a Data Scientist at Sinch, your primary responsibility is to analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform our business decisions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing predictive models and algorithms that can be used to solve business problems and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. collecting and cleaning data from various sources to ensure it is accurate and reliable.
  2. analyzing large and complex data sets using statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform business decisions.
  3. designing and implementing predictive models and algorithms that can be used to solve business problems and improve business performance.
  4. Communicating insights and findings to stakeholders and decision-makers in a clear and concise manner, including data visualizations and reports.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and product managers, to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
  6. continuously improving and refining predictive models based on new data and feedback from stakeholders.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
  3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  4. Knowledge and curiosity about AI/ML
  5. Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, decision trees, and neural networks.
  6. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Kibana.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
