Accounts Payable Specialist II

As part of a passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will process invoices for various spaceflight systems and support functions. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of AP invoice processing. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices

• Jira Ticket System

• Work with Procurement, Receiving and suppliers to resolve invoicing issues

• Reconcile supplier statements

• Enter Non-PO invoices

• Assist with various other payables functions as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in accounting, finance, or similar field or equivalent professional experience

• 5+ years payables processing experience to include enterprise level, high volume payables

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Basic understanding of payables impact to the GL and financial statements

• High attention to detail and critical thinking skills

• Able to work independently and also collaborate effectively with various internal levels and departments

• Comfortable with a fast paced and often ambiguous work environment

• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion 

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.  

Desired:

• Experience with Coupa, Costpoint, Exostar, Cognos, APs9, and/or Analytics

• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Powerpoint

 

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $23.85-$33.39

Other site ranges may differ
