Job Description

• As Senior Expert for Supply Chain Operations you support projects and change the Semiconductor organization with appropriate communication and change management Techniques.
• Also, you will align closely with the logistics, manufacturing, controlling, IT, tax and legal departments to manage these initiatives and changes. You guide cross functional project team members in all project phases.
• Moreover, you conduct profitability studies and prepare clear proposals for decisions, as well as defining or validating and evaluating operational concepts for selected new product platforms or business models within the SC area.
• In addition, you deliver input for the specification of the correlating IT landscape and drive necessary changes. Further you implement and optimize complex planning and control processes within the semiconductor supply chain, covering all aspects of planning and associated master data in collaboration with user departments.
• You are responsible to report the project status to management and for implementation of complementing reports in collaboration with user departments and experts.
• Finally, you adapt the associated methods and IT Landscape and drive the implementation of new solutions with focus on optimized transparency, speed and cost.

Qualifications

• Education: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Operations Research or a comparable subject
• Experience and Knowledge: At least 3-5 years work experience; Expert knowledge in planning and control of complex logistics networks with internal and external manufacturing sites and partners; practical experience with SAP and IT tools in logistics planning, ideally SO specific tools, e.g., Blue Yonder; Ideally good knowledge about semiconductor industry
• Personality and Working Practice: You are highly motivated and willing to drive change; Independent style of working with the ability to decide and drive decisions; you can work in a cross-functional environment and think out of the box
• Qualifications: strong project management skills in a complex environment
• Languages: business fluent English and German
