The University of Washington Information School is recruiting graduate students for the LIS 516 hourly Reader/Grader position. Qualifications are based on prior course work, skill level, experience, and schedule availability.

LIS 516: Youth Development and Information Behavior in a Digital Age 

LIS 516 A Lecture: Online Asynchronous

This position will work a maximum of 15 hours per week.
 

Responsibilities may include some or all the following duties:

  •  Prepare and grade exams and papers
  •  Maintain grading records
  •  Manage, and respond to course related email
  •  Attend instructor/employee meetings
  •  Attend lectures and office hours
  •  Review literature
  •  Reader/Graders may not perform teaching duties.

Pay:

$21.60-$23.11 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be located in the United States for the duration of the appointment. 
  • Graduate students enrolled in a minimum of 4 credits at the University of Washington Seattle as of Spring 2025
  • Strong interest and ability to work with students having diverse skill levels.
  • Prior completion of LIS 516 with strong performance or demonstrated proficiency in the course content.
