Warehouse Utility Nightshift

Position Overview

As a Utility, you will fill in for any position in the warehouse including, but not limited to: Clerk, Forklift Operator, Selector, Backhauler, and Porter.

Job Description

• Earn $17.50 per hour Plus Overtime AS NEEDED
• Full Time, Nightshift - Monday to Friday
• 6pm - 2:30am OR 7pm - 3:30am
• 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406

You will contribute by: 

• Assisting with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, organizing and storing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment
• Inspecting inbound and outbound pallets for quality, pest and platform issues
• Manually stocking cases of product into warehouse racks
• Selecting cases (grocery, perishable or frozen), arrange cases on a pallet, wrap and load cases into a trailer
• Manually lifting pallets to move into place
• Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move and stack materials
• Maneuvering Stand-Up Forklift to put away or let down pallets into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high
• Operating an electric pallet jack or clamp machine to transport pallets of product from inbound trucks
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse 
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse aisles and product slots
• Cleaning warehouse offices, employee break areas, and restrooms
• Ensuring accuracy in documentation and record-keeping for warehouse inventory management
• Performing duties of Warehouse Clerk
• Conducting regular stock counts
• Recording daily actions by use of Radio Frequency Computer Terminal
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc. 
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
