The Opportunity
This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. This role is on-site daily and not remote.

As the Sr. Program Manager, your primary role will be execution of programs in accordance to the organizations methodology. The programs will be key initiatives through collaboration with cross-functional teams across the Infectious Disease portfolio globally. It’ll be critical to understand the markets we are aiming to serve, partner with both regional and global teams, and build relationships to bridge knowledge gaps and influence change without authority. Doing so will result in helping to serve a very broad community of patients globally and serve a greater healthcare need.
What You’ll Work On
- Partner with regional and global cross-functional teams to drive program excellence of multiple new products, globally
- Build relationships as a liaison to core teams, regional and global stakeholders identify gaps, brainstorm solutions, and ensure accountability of teams/deliverables
- Influence change to align to a global structure, creating excitement and campaigns to help drive adoption
- Work with launch teams to establish KPIs to quantify success and measure progress regularly
- Develop, prioritize, and submit project plans, budgets across key programs
- Build excitement around key programs and encourage knowledge sharing across teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years of related work experience,
- Solid global product launch and/or training experience required
- Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally healthcare
- Solid commercial financial acumen (demand forecasting, building sales funnels, monitoring lead/lag measures, etc.)
- Excellent communication/presentation skills, and comfortable with presenting to leadership
- Organized and careful attention to detail
- Ability to travel 30% including globally if required
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA strongly preferred
- Commercial financial acumen (demand forecasting, building sales funnels, monitoring lead/lag measures, etc.)
- Global Product Launch experience
- Commercial Sales, Training, or Marketing experience
- Professional and Consumer product experience
- Smartsheet, MS Project, and Power B experience or related Master Data capability
- Operations, Quality, Regulatory experience
