Job Overview

As a Parts Counterperson you will be performing a variety of functions from taking calls from customers, assisting walk-in customers with parts orders, researching technical data for the correct part or parts, placing orders with OEM’s, expediting any special items, and many other tasks. If you are looking for a fast-paced opportunity and want to help our customers this is the place to be.  

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers with price quotes, parts orders, researching technical data for the correct part or parts, placing orders with OEM’s, expediting any special items, including follow up with customers on order status. 

  • Ensure all parts movements are performed in NPS system in timely manner. 

  • Responsible for all core returns sold make sure go back to manufacturer. 

  • Notifies parts manager in processing stock replenishment. 

  • Assists Parts Manager with Physical Parts Inventory.  

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma required. 

  • Past parts counter experience is highly desired. 

  • Must have a valid drivers' license with a safe driving record. 

  • Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license. 

  • Must have ability to frequently bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift and have the ability to pull and/or push up to 50 pounds w/o assistance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Platforms (Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook) and dealer business operating systems.
