Summary
The Contact Center Technology team has a crucial mission: to create and maintain cutting-edge, cost-effective technology solutions that cater to our customers' needs. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining systems and applications. These can be either custom-built or vendor-supplied, all aimed at supporting SRP's contact center operations.
The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of backend integrations utilizing relational database management systems (RBMS), custom ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, REST, Web Services, API Controllers, and connecting to various data integration points. This candidate will have a passion for discovering and developing solutions from customer requirements. They will embrace collaboration while working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. They will bring a positive attitude and take initiative to accomplish goals efficiently.
This position works on a team alongside other developers, application administrators, and project managers who share the same commitment to the customer as you do.
What You'll Do
• Develop custom software applications based on client specifications or business requirements
• Apply standard processes/methods, practices and techniques to design, develop, test, implement and support new and existing technology solutions
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines utilizing data migration services (SSIS, Web API, etc), languages, and tools that connect various data sources (SQL, Snowflake, DB2)
• Work closely with business partners to understand unique operational needs in order to scope projects and develop flexible and innovative solutions
• Act as a technical liaison and consultant to our internal client organizations
• Review and analyze system problems and propose solutions
• Create technical documents and reports for software development and maintenance
What It Takes To Succeed
The successful candidate will possess these capabilities:
• Experience with Blazor .NET frontend web framework
• Experience with backend integration via REST ASP.NET
• Experience with web APIs utilizing SQL Data Entity Framework
• Experience with multiple programming languages including C#.Net
• Advanced proficiency with T-SQL, Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions in a SQL Server environment
• Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS
• Expertise in modern database technologies, data integration, reporting
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling (Snowflake, SAP Datasphere experience is a plus)
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, organization and analytical skills
• Knowledge of information systems design and life cycle methodology
• Telephony experience is a plus
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops
Preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience
Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level
