We are hiring an IPS Team Lead in Asheville

The Position: We’re looking for an IPS Team Lead, Qualified Professional in Mental Health.
- Pay rate: $45,000 -$50,000 based on education and experience
- Bonus: $3,000 sign on bonus
- Schedule: we are hiring for a full time salary position.
Position Requirements:
- 6 months or more experience in employment or vocational services.
- Bachelor Degree (in Human Services field) & 2 or more years full-time experience with individuals living with mental illness OR
- Bachelor Degree (Not Human Services field) & 4 or more years full-time experience with individuals living with mental illness OR
- Master’s Degree or Higher & 1 or more years full-time experience OR
- License or Provisional License in a human services field

Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise a team of qualified and associate level professionals providing employment services in the community while maintaining a small caseload.
- Monitoring and managing the team's outcomes and problem solving barriers to employment.
- Assist individuals to set and achieve goals to gain employment based on their career preferences.
- Provide follow along supports and retention services including on site job coaching to ensure client success and employer satisfaction.
- Provide benefits information and support to help people maintain a high quality of life.
- Engage clients and assist them in identifying areas of employment interest.
- Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between the team, the individual, guardians, local agencies and the community; especially as it relates to employment, benefits, and independent living.
- Minimizing the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance use that interfere with the person’s ability to work or maintain employment, providing supportive counseling.
- Linking and partnering with EIPD (formerly VR), employers and employment agencies to find preferred job opportunities.
