Description

The Thomson-Hood Veterans Center is a 285-bed long-term care facility located in beautiful Wilmore, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is responsible for caring for the residents of Thomson-Hood Veterans Center.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Performs nursing duties under direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
Administers medication and treatments as prescribed.
Collects assessment data and cares for our veterans within the scope of the LPN clinical skills.

This position, in the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center Nursing Services Department, in Jessamine County has an approved Locality Premium of $12.45 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).

Working Conditions
