Job Duties

Provides essential clerical and administrative support to Probation and Parole Services staff by accurately keying reports and correspondence from drafts, maintaining and organizing files, and professionally greeting and assisting visitors and callers. Efficiently performs keyboarding tasks, including precise data entry into agency data systems, while also supporting fiscal operations to ensure smooth and effective office workflow. This role is vital in facilitating communication, record-keeping, and overall administrative functions within the department.

Minimum Qualifications

Detail-oriented professional with experience providing administrative support, including data entry, filing, and related duties in a professional environment. The ideal candidate will have recent customer service experience, proficiency with MS Office applications, and familiarity with office equipment such as multi-line telephones and computers. Strong keyboarding skills, attention to detail, research and proofreading abilities, and dependability are essential. The ability to work efficiently in a large office setting, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines as required. Valid Drivers License

Additional Considerations

Advanced knowledge and relevant coursework, training, certification, or work experience in office administration or a related field. The ideal applicant will have hands-on experience working with case-management databases or other automated database systems beyond standard MS Office applications. Prior administrative experience within a criminal justice, court, or law office environment.
