The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a confident Site Administrative Assistant to support the Principal Director and Site Lead at the Hill Air Force Base Aerospace location. This role is ideal for a proactive, highly organized administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative and is committed to operational excellence.

As the primary point of contact for the Aerospace site, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations by efficiently executing a wide range of administrative, operational and site support tasks with professionalism and attention to detail. You will provide collaborative administrative support, coordinate on-site activities and meetings, and help drive the overall efficiency of site operations. In this role, you will also anticipate and address issues, execute established processes and procedures, and partner closely with leaders, colleagues and customers across the enterprise to maintain a well-organized, high-functioning office environment.

Work Model
This is a full-time position located at Hill AFB, Utah. This position requires 4-5 days onsite support with some telework possible as business conditions allow.   

What You’ll Be Doing

Administrative Support:

  • Provide strategic administrative support to the Principal Director, including calendar management, travel coordination, logistics, and expense reporting

  • Coordinate and support internal and external meetings, events, and activities

  • Support onsite employee requirements such as onboarding coordination and supply/equipment ordering

  • Collaborate with administrative colleagues across the group, division, subdivision, and enterprise

Aerospace Site Operations and Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary partner and point of contact for the Principal Director/Site Lead, internal teams, government customers, contractors, and external stakeholders

  • Engage in site activities and decision-making processes, ensuring timely communication and follow-up coordination

  • Facilitate Enterprise Services support such as Facilities, Security and Safety, Information Systems (EIS), Corporate Communications, and People Operations

  • Oversee site-related operations, including property management, maintenance requests, janitorial services, vendor coordination, and deliveries

  • Coordinate fulfillment of site-specific resources and operational requirements

  • Partner with leadership and stakeholders to develop, improve, and maintain effective site communications.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance organization and operational efficiency

What You Need to be Successful  

Minimum Requirements:    

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent  

  • Experience: Prior experience as an administrative professional or similar role  

  • Strong administrative skills: strategic execution of tasks, organization, detail-oriented, writing, and proofreading   

  • Strong technological fluency across a wide range of tools and platforms​ such as Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Excel and meeting tools such as Teams and Zoom   

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills: leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, diplomatic, judgment, and decision-making, across all levels of the organization   

  • Ability to rapidly adapt to changing environments and priorities   

  • Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately   

  • Ability to work independently and/or cooperatively with a team to lead innovative solutions and resolve issues   

  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SSBI/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
