Job Summary

Responsible for managing activities that provides oversight for the end-to-end Cashflow reporting, and Accrual to Cash Adjustment (“ACA”) reporting processes (Monthly/Quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, Long-range Plan) for Comcast Connectivity & Platforms. Promotes alignment of these processes and controls across the Company. Provides support and direction for cross-functional initiatives. Contributes to the implementation of strategies for the functional area and ensures alignment with the organizational objectives.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manages functions of the Accounting department including Company policies, procedures, internal controls, external audits and internal audits. 

  • Ensures compliance with policies, trust indentures, debt covenants, rules, regulations and laws. Stays abreast of legal, regulatory and policy developments and audits guidelines affecting areas of responsibility; enforces legal and regulatory requirements impartially; reviews financial reporting for compliance with GAAP. 

  • Manages the end-to-end Balance Sheet reporting, Cashflow reporting, and Accrual to Cash Adjustment (“ACA”) processes (Monthly/Quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, Long-range Plan) for Comcast Connectivity & Platforms. 

  • Provides monthly and quarterly updates to senior C&P leadership on results 

  • Manages cross-functional initiatives to align processes across C&P in the Balance Sheet, Cashflow and ACA functional areas. 

  • Ensuring precise and timely financial reporting and analysis, in line with accounting standards 

  • Provides people-leader support to the Accounting staff by setting goals, objectives, and performance criteria. 

  • Monitors and develops procedures to accommodate operational and policy changes. 

  • Identifies and implements process enhancement/automation within the functional team.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills:  

  • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills 

  • Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks 

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.  

  • Familiar with Oracle, Smartview, Incorta and OneStream 

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
