Position Summary

 

The Experienced Legal Recruitment Coordinator will drive the full spectrum of recruitment efforts to help us take our Experienced Legal recruitment to the next level, to be a best-in-class function. This role will work with Partners and key stakeholders to execute talent strategies, manage the end-to-end recruitment process, and develop diverse pipelines for multiple practice groups across all our US offices.

The ideal candidate will have excellent client relationship management skills and a professional presence, with the ability to balance stakeholder and candidate relationships. They will need strong time management, organization and process driven skills while managing multiple requisitions. The role also emphasizes attracting and retaining top talent by ensuring a positive candidate experience and requires an individual who continuously strives to cultivate a proactive recruitment process that is engaging, strategic and efficient.

 

Duties and Accountabilities1

 
  • Support the hiring of lateral associates, counsel and other full-time, experienced associates such as judicial clerks and LLM candidates
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for multiple requisitions (e.g., job postings, applications, interviews, candidate management, offer process, agency engagement, etc.)
  • Proactively mitigate recruitment challenges and communicate regularly with the relevant leadership on requisitions within the practice group(s)
  • Build and maintain relationships with legal search firms, gather and analyze job market trends, and promote the Firm’s brand
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build diverse candidate pipelines and engage top talent
  • Conduct screening interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and suitability for open positions
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, cross-function teams, and key stakeholders throughout the recruitment process to ensure we meet their hiring needs and goals
  • Develop deep expertise as a subject matter expert and promote recruitment best practices
  • Support recruitment initiatives across the Business Services and Experienced Legal Recruitment teams (e.g., branding initiatives, DEI engagement, LinkedIn utilization and expansion, sourcing efforts, etc.)
  • Ensure ATS and recruitment reporting are accurate and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Manage the offer process by coordinating with cross functional team (i.e., immigration, conflicts, general counsel, compensation, mobility, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance by maintaining data integrity in the recruitment process

 

Qualifications

 
  • At least two (2) years of recruitment experience within the professional services industry or a search firm, with legal experience preferred  
  • Expertise in sourcing passiv
